Mobile Videography

Newport Technologies is my public speaking vehicle to evangelize mobile technology trends inside China today.  Since 2003, I have been delivering public speaking presentations on cutting-edge embedded Smart Card/Semiconductor Mobile technologies, China-specific wireless technology market trends, how to sell to Greater China/Asia and how to use Chinese social media to overcome the Great Firewall legally and successfully.   I’ve delivered close to 800 public speaking presentations globally since 2003 and uploaded about 130 videos to You Tube and Vimeo.   While working in Gemalto Beijing office from 2008-2013, I realized that the subtle art of selling to the Chinese was through video presentations to scale awareness.  Hence, because of censorship and protectionism, I had to figure out how to get my presentations to key stake-holders within my ecosystem inside China because You Tube, Facebook and Twitter were and still are banned inside China.

I soon discovered Tudou and Youku video streaming web sites would be the most logical method to get my English and Mandarin Chinese language public speaking presentation to technology movers and shakers inside China.   I have uploaded since 2009 about 80 of my public speaking video clips to Youku-Tudou.  After that, I will use WeChat to transfer these videos from Youku to my vast contacts in China using WeChat, most have joined technology user groups on WeChat.  This is all about harnessing the power of Western and Chinese Social Media.  Please feel free to scan my two video streaming accounts hereunder:
